Red Octopus Solutions (ROS) was incorporated in 2019 when long-time Metropolitan policing colleagues Nick Wilcox and Alan Barr applied decades of criminal investigatory knowledge to develop a framework for the risk assurance of contemporary organisations and, through this, to provide stakeholder peace of mind.

ROS protects clients from indeterminate threats by focusing on decision-making processes and systems rather than incident-specific response plans. The ROS assurance framework develops robust organisations resilient to diverse threats and sustained by professional learning and culture. 

ROS remains a relatively small company with five lead consultants actively involved daily, supported by a trusted group of subject matter experts providing flexible contract support.
